DR. MICHELLE RAMOS, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IN RESIDENCE

Dr. Michelle Ramos brings a deep and incredibly robust diversity of experience to her new role as Executive Director of Camille A. Brown Dancers. Her background includes most recently working as Executive Director of Alternate ROOTS, in criminal justice reform as Project Director of the Vera Institute of Justice, philanthropic work as a Program Officer at Women’s Foundation of California and service organization leadership as Board Chair of Foundation for Louisiana, Board Member of Grantmeakers in the Arts and Board Treasurer of Dancing Grounds.

In addition to being a licensed attorney, and holding a PhD in Psychology, she has significant organizing experience and has committed her career to serving communities and individuals adversely impacted by issues of race, gender, disability, class, socio-economics, inequitable laws and systemic oppression.

Since retiring from her own professional dance career, Ramos has continued to teach dance, competes regularly as an Ironman triathlete and performs locally with Ritmeaux Krewe for parades and every Mardi Gras in New Orleans, where she is based and now enjoys her southern lifestyle.

JOEY VIGLIOTTI, EXECUTIVE MANAGING DIRECTOR

Joey Vigliotti is a longtime practitioner in the community arts field with a deep commitment to storytelling, cultural celebration, and creative collaboration. Currently serving as the Director of Planning and Producing for Camille A. Brown & Dancers, Joey brings over two decades of experience in both the performing arts and event worlds to the company’s visionary, multi-platform projects.

Before joining CABD, Joey served as the Artistic Director of the Boys and Girls Harbor Conservatory in East Harlem, where he championed accessible arts education and nurtured young talent from across New York City. He is also the proud founder of Amplified Events, an experiential production company known for curating dynamic, high-touch social and corporate events that celebrate creativity, community, and intentional design.

Joey’s work is rooted in the belief that art has the power to connect, transform, and spark change—and whether producing a national tour, a neighborhood performance, or an unforgettable gathering, he brings that same spirit of joy and purpose to everything he touches.

CATHERINE FOSTER, DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & EDUCATION

Catherine Foster is a seasoned dancer, choreographer, educator, and arts leader with over 20 years of experience in performance, teaching, and program development. A native of Washington, DC, she received her foundational training with the DC Youth Ensemble, Baltimore School for the Arts, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. Her professional career includes award-winning performances—earning second place in the National YoungArts Competition and receiving the Astaire Award for Best Broadway Female Ensemble.

Catherine has performed with acclaimed choreographers such as Donald Byrd, Kevin “Iega” Jeff, Darrel Moultrie, Bill T. Jones, Abdel Salaam, and Camille A. Brown. As a founding dancer, teaching artist, and artistic associate with Camille A. Brown & Dancers (CABD), she has played a key role in expanding the reach and impact of the Every Body Move (EBM) initiative. Her stage and screen credits include FELA! on Broadway, Once On This Island (Broadway, assistant choreographer), Black Girls Rock, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (Netflix), and performances with international artists such as Angelique Kidjo, Davido, and Lauryn Hill.

Catherine has held teaching roles at NYU Tisch School of the Arts (Guest), The Ailey School, and as an adjunct professor at Indiana University. She specializes in professional development for dance educators, emphasizing cultural context, historical grounding, and liberation-based pedagogy. Her workshops create meaningful spaces where educators and students connect dance to identity, heritage, and healing.

She has also developed arts and wellness programs for organizations such as Harlem Children’s Zone and served as a thought partner and facilitator for various nonprofit organizations across New York City and internationally. With a passion for preserving culture through movement and broadening access to the arts, she continues to inspire and advocate for holistic, community-rooted arts education.

CATHERINE WILLIAMS, DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Born and raised in Sarasota, Florida, Catherine Williams has been a lifelong patron of the arts. Though she found her personal niche in music--having played the violin since the age of 4--she started her venture in performing arts with dance and now returns to the field through her new role with CABD helping to secure funding for the organization's varied programming. Catherine comes to CABD from the American Symphony Orchestra where she assisted with various development needs and produced chamber & full orchestral concerts at iconic NYC venues including Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and Bryant Park. Prior to coming to New York City, she graduated from Swarthmore College with a B.A. in Black Studies with a focus in history.

Catherine is thrilled to join the CABD team and continue growing as an arts administrator at such an impactful organization.

GWENDOLYN BAUM, SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Gwendolyn Baum, originally from New Jersey, graduated from the Boston Conservatory in May of 2014, Summa Cum Laude, with her B.F.A in Contemporary Dance. When she first came to New York City, she participated in a project commissioned by The Moving Beauty Series, working specifically with choreographer Sandra Kramerova. As she began to build her presence in New York she had the opportunity to perform with Dante Brown|Warehouse Dance, Alison Cook Beatty Dance and LL Moves. She participated in New York Fashion Week for designer Sho Konishi and toured nationally and internationally with Kizuna Dance as a founding company member and Rehearsal Director. Off stage,she has worked with many dance photographers including Rachel Neville and Brian Mengini on various dance photography projects and print and has also consulted administratively for Kizuna Dance and other companies she has danced for. While a part of the company, she spearheaded two successful fundraising events and multiple online campaigns by offering her in-depth knowledge of online marketing and promotion. Gwendolyn often served as a voice for Kizuna Dance, and her ability to speak to people of all ages and backgrounds to pull them into the company’s mission was an invaluable asset while the company was on tour. Gwendolyn has trained in various ballet and modern dance disciplines, as well as improvisation, partnering, and somatic practices. Gwendolyn is excited to continue growing in New York City, where she is currently based.

PATRICE GOLBOURNE, ARTISTIC PROGRAMS ASSOCIATE

Patrice Golbourne, a Brooklyn native with a deep passion for dance and community. Embracing her Caribbean heritage, she was inspired by African Diaspora dance, leading her to pursue a performing arts career. Patrice's commitment to fostering connections within her community led her to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA with NYC Administrations for Children Services, working in the Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships. Currently, she is excited to join the staff of Camille A. Brown & Dancers as its Administrative Associate.

PAULO HERNANDEZ-FARELLA, DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE

Paulo Hernandez-Farella is a Salvadoran-American from Los Angeles, CA where they attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. They were then admitted to the University of Southern California on a full-ride as a Trustee Scholar. Paulo went on to graduate as part of the inaugural class of USC Kaufman Dance Scholars with both a BFA in Dance and a Masters in Public Administration from the USC Price School of Public Policy. Upon graduation, Paulo toured domestically and internationally with Ballet Hispánico for six seasons as a company artist. For five of those years, acting as the company’s union representative, spearheading two contract negotiations.

Paulo is now a freelance performing artist represented by MSA. You can see their work on screen in both movies and TV shows, in several TV and Print commercials, and in live productions all over the United States. Administratively, Paulo serves on both the American Guild of Musical Artist’s Board of Governors and on their NYC Area Committee. Paulo is immensely grateful to be joining the CABD team amongst the highest caliber of staff and artists exploring the intersectionality of advocacy in the arts.

PRODUCTION

MORA-AMINA PARKER, REHEARSAL DIRECTOR

Ms. Mora-Amina Parker began her dance training at San Francisco High school of the Arts under the tutelage of Reginald Ray Savage and Elvia Marta. Upon graduation Ms. Parker became a member of Savage Jazz Dance Company in Oakland, California. She has performed with Robert Moses’ Kin, Philadanco II, Dallas Black Dance Theater, Jeanne Ruddy, Reflections Dance Company, and Philadanco. While a member of Philadanco, Ms. Parker trained and received her classical Pilates certification and is the proprietor of PowerHouse, lassical Pilates in New York City.

Ms. Parker began working with Camille A. Brown in 2009. In 2014 the company was awarded a Bessie—New York Dance and Performance Award for Outstanding Production for Mr. Tol E. RAncE. Currently Ms. Parker is the rehearsal director for CABD and a custodian for Ms. Brown's choreography, staging Ms. Brown’s works on George Mason University, San Jose State, Point Park University, the Juilliard School, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. In 2022, Ms. Parker had the honor of assisting Ms. Brown on the Broadway revival of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/ When the Rainbow Is Enuf. This production was nominated for seven Tony Awards including best choreography.

Ms. Parker received her MFA in Performance and Performance Studies in 2019 from Pratt Institute. She is currently a third-year PhD candidate at Temple University in Dance Studies with a concentration in African American modern concert dance aesthetics.

CAMRYN STAFFORD, COMPANY MANAGER

Camryn Stafford hails from Dallas, TX where she credits the beginning of her dance education to Dallas Black Dance Theater and Booker T. Washington HSPVA. Camryn is a graduate of Princeton University and is a NYC-based dancer, choreographer, teacher, and company manager. Camryn has studied dance at Dallas Black Dance Theater, the Alvin Ailey School, the Dance Theatre of Harlem, the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and the Joffrey Ballet School. Camryn has held positions with the Dance Institute of Washington, A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, the Joffrey Ballet School, and the Misty Copeland Foundation.

ROBERT MCINTYRE, PRODUCTION STAGE MANAGER

Robert MCintyre is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania and works all over the northeast region in PA, MA, upstate NY, and NYC freelancing in theatre and dance. Robert holds a B.S. Dual Degree in business management and technical theatre from East Stroudsburg University of PA, where he graduated in 2012. He has had the opportunity to intern at Williamstown Theatre Festival and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, where he has served as the Production Coordinator for their Inside/Out Series. Robert has been the stage manager for Stephen Petronio Dance Company, TAKE Dance, Gallim Dance, Encompass New Opera Theatre, Keely Garfield Dance, and Damage Dance. Recently, he lit The Student Company and Dance for PD at Mark Morris Dance Group.

Alex Fetchko (Lighting Supervisor) is a NYC Based Lighting Designer and Assistant. MARGARET SELBY, SELBY ARTS MANAGEMENT

With a skill for cultivating exceptional talent, Selby manages the careers of leading choreographers, dance companies and theatrical events, supporting performance and touring around the world. Drawing upon her lifelong passion for dance, theater, music and film, in-depth working knowledge of creative development and performance, Selby has a keen eye on today’s performance landscape and the care needed to thrive as we head further into the 21st Century.

Margaret Selby has worked on live TV productions, including the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Daytime Emmys for NBC and CBS as well as projects for A&E, Lifetime, Warner Brothers, SONY, BBC, and USA Networks. Selby worked with The Children’s Television Network (now Sesame Workshop) and with the Great Performances: Dance in America on PBS for eight years.

She also produced and directed Everybody Dance Now, which won a Peabody Award and a Bronze Rose at the Rose d’Or. Her special, Two by Dove, for Dance in America won two Emmy Awards (Outstanding Cultural Program and Outstanding Individual Achievement in Choreography). Selby produced the first hip hop musical on Broadway, Jam on the Groove with Rock Steady Crew, which was nominated for a Drama Desk Award and received rave reviews. She also produced and directed, Chuck Jones: Extremes and In-Betweens - A Life in Animation, along with procuring the financing; Selby was able to secure the participation of Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, Steven Spielberg, John Lassiter, Ron Howard and Matt Groening, among others.
